Thanks! It is a good reminder that I need to set short term goals to help me stay focused. I'm glad to talk with someone else who has started and stopped several times. This time we will finish!

Hi there Momklop! I am Peajay26, 55 and wanting to drop 100 or more lbs by November 2015. I have stopped and started a number of times but I got recommitted in March and thanks to an SP blog, I am incorporating changes using mini-streaks for one thing at a time. For the last 15 days of the month, my focus was no soda & drinking my eight cups of water a day. I succeeded on the zero soda for all 15 days. I fell one cup short on water one day but had 10 the day before and the day after the lapse day. So rather than be defeated because I didn't make all 15, I am energized that I was 14/15 and did not let the lapse become a collapse.
My new mini-streak is to continue the zero soda/8 water streak for another 15 days plus adding the SP "April Rise & Shine 10 day challenge" which is one of today's blogs.

Good luck as you work towards your goals ------ remember one step at a time OR one streak at a time.

Hi Everyone - Here I go again! Time to focus on myself again, so I today I refreshed all of my information and started logging my food intake again. I'm 52 and have a goal of losing 55 pounds by February of 2015. Thanks in advance for your advice and support.
