Hello my name is Terri and I am new to this team. I joined SP on January 3rd and I have been tracking but not doing very well on my fitness. I have a cardiac problem and exercising causes me pain and distress so this part of it is difficult. I live in the midwest and I have a step-son, a step-daughter and a son of my own. All of the children are grown and married and I have 5 grandchildren, but my own son does not have any children yet. I live in the midwest which means snow, snow, snow, snow and cold, cold, cold. I am currently married but not for much longer and I need all the encouragement I can get to stay on track.

Hi 2MADIBEAR! Wecome to the team! Probably the most eye-opening thing is tracking your food. You'll be amazed at how much over the recommendations you are - even when you think you are being "good".

I have no tips other than to encourage using this site to it's fullest. Unfortunately, it still boils down to eating less (or maybe just healthier) and exercising more.
