Hi Margefit:

Welcome to the group! I agree with the others that you have come to the right place for help with motivation. One of the other ladies posted to read the site which I also agree with. That said, I don't think anyone has touched on ways to stay motovated to exercise daily. Here is what I did. I was a confirmed couch potato at the beginning of the year, now I exercise 5 days a week for 2 and half hours a day. While I don't think I will ever love it, it is a habit and part of my daily life. I started out very small, five minutes a day on the ellipitcal. Each week I added 2 to 3 minutes of time until I was up to 30 minutes per session. I then added another piece of equipment starting at 15 minutes and worked up to 30, etc. I'm not sure where you are starting at exercise and health wise but, as so many articles here say, just start moving and it will come. I promise if you do it daily it will become a habit that, like it or not, you will want to do daily. Hope this helps. Keep me posted on how your journey is going, I really would like to know.
