Hi and welcome. It took me awhile to get into a habit of even tracking my nutrition and fitness on SP, however, now I'm on daily. They say if you do something at least 11 times, you're creating a habit and that is what I've done and so can you! I'm in my 50's and have arthritis in my knees, ankles and back and I started with just walking for 5 mins a day. That was 4 months ago and now I'm doing 30 minutes and feeling much better. So start with a small goal and add on as you go. You'll be surprised how much it gets easier. Good luck!

Welcome to Spark People and the team! Working out is a challenge for most of us but you can easily fit in small amounts to get the exercise you need. 10 minutes at a time a few times a day is just as good as one long workout. Any less than 10 is not as effective, but any movement is good.

I am brand new to Spark People and this group, and I am looking forward to learning from all of you. I am 51 years old, work a full-time job (long days) and always feel like I have to squeeze in my workouts - when I workout. I have joined SP with the hope that it will help me stay motivated to maintain a healthier lifestyle.
