thanks for your good wishes. Have a great trip. I was just on the road for 3 days and gained a couple pounds. But they will come off as soon as I get back on track. SP and everyone's support helps!

Welcome Back to both of us. I'm still trying to figure out techno this site has gone since I was last on some time ago. Hope you had a good day. I had my fingers & toes done today. Leaving for Mesa in 2 days so wanted to feel well groomed. My baby step goal is to just not overeat.

Thank you all for your encouraging words! This journey has been going on for most of m life and I've seen progress, very slow, but progress. By the way, I weighed myself after two days (I'm going on the road for 3 days and wanted to know where I stood, weight-wise) and I'm already showing a weight loss. I look forward to hearing from you all in the coming weeks. I hope I can be an encouragement to you as well! By the way, the weight loss shown below includes pounds I lost with Spark People about a year ago. I've kept it off but now am stating to lose again!! Yea!

It's great seeing people return to Sparkpeople after a break. I kind of had an awakening that I need to just plan on staying on track instead of yo-yoing around. I am realizing that there's no quick fixes or magic pills and that if I just stick with a lifestyle that fits I won't have to stop and restart.
I just came back again after a bit of an absence and I have to say that it feels good to have a place to report my successes and challenges.
I just started tracking and made a commitment to work out regularly, getting up early with a plan to do an activity every day. So far it's working. I feel better after day 8. I am reading the Spark Solution which is also very informative. Good luck, Jerseygirl. I'm interested in hearing more about your journey.

HI, Yesterday was my first day back after about a year's absence. Been doing WW without much success. I want to lose about a half to one pound a week (total 30 lbs) and get my cholesterol under control. I'm moderately active. I like the structure of the eating plan each day, even if I don't follow it because there are plenty substitutes and it keeps me focused on good choices. I'm looking forward to hearing from you and learning about your experiences !
