emoticon Welcome and, yes, I used to have them for many years. I was then put on anti-depressants, which helped so much!

Hi. I am new to the team. I am 53 and have about 50 lb. to lose. Had a few hot flashes about a year ago but weren't severe and soon stopped. About a month ago I had terrible flashes while driving to work. They started at my feet, rolled up my body and exited out my hands and head. This went on for at least 30 minutes then off and on the rest of the day. I was so shaken up that I went to the doctor only to be told it was just hot flashes. Since then, I get panic attacks while driving even though I've driven this route for at least 20 years. Does anyone else have anxiety associated with menopause and what do you do to keep it under control?
