I had a partial a few years ago in 2011 I think and I have not been the same since LOL. I never was completely right but man it has been hard.
Keep pushing we will get there slow and steady is best so it does not come back harder.
Small changes so you get used to the new habit then make more.

I am 44 and also in menopause thanks to an emergency hysterectomy last January. I have not gained any weight since the meds but am finding it increasingly difficult to lose the weight. Hang in there and don't give up!

Dwelling on past mistakes does you no good. You can change everything today if you want to, or you can keep living the life you've always lived. It's up to you, but remember this: every moment is an opportunity to change your life.
~Aaron Chavez

I wake up every day with the realization that this is it, that there's only one shot at this life and I can either enjoy the ride and live it to its fullest and to my highest potential or I can stay the way I am.

Welcome!
I am on meds and doing okay with weight. I started the Plan back in May and have gone up some but it is so easy to get back down. I have lots of energy in summer (winter with all the darkness gets to me) but I am still doing okay.
If you need anything let me know.

Hi - I'm 42 and in full menopause...boo! My doctor put me on meds as I am young for it - but I still gained 30 pounds in one year (and I wasn't skinny to start with!). Now I need to lose 80 pounds with a metabolism that feels like it came to a total halt. Glad I found this group - you all seem so encouraging to each other!
