I have struggled with my weight all my life but have always kept it to with-in 20 lbs of normal but every since I have been in my 40's I have struggled even worse. I have never had a fat stomach(always hips and butt) but now I have all this flab around my tummy area. I know that I have fell off the band wagon and have picked up bad eating habits. I do go to the gym about 4 days a week but have a sedentary lifestyle other wise(sit at a desk all day long). I really want to be healthy and not have to take high blood pressure medicine or get diabetes. I have re-joined sparkpeople and really need some motivation to stay on a healthy eating plan and continue my exercise routine. I have not suffered hot flashes or night sweats but have a lot of the moodiness that comes with peri-menopause. I do get really warm in the morning when cooking breakfast or getting ready for work. I am looking forward to going through this journey with others that are in the same boat. I am going to use humor and a positive attitude to get through this and come out healthier on the other side. Thanks for letting me join your group.
