Welcome to the team ! So glad your here.
First thing is you have to mix up the exercises ur doing. Walk and maybe run and ride bike. Then one week play basketball Just make it fun and won't feel like exercising ! And do portion control on food and make sure your eating enough fruit and veggies and fiber and protein. I do weights every other day. So it will happen. !! Hang in there.

Lost 110 pounds so far! i am loving it!

Hi Everyone. My name is Nancy and I am new to this group. I have been trying to loose weight since last August. I started out at 178 and am now down to 155. My first goal was to be down to 145 by my sons wedding in July. Unfortunately I have been stuck at this weight since Christmas and it doesn't want to budge regardless of what I do. I have tried adding more calories, lowering calories by some, exercising more, exercising less all to no avail. Presently I eat around 1400 calories and go to the gym 4 to 5 times a week. I combine strength training with aerobics and some yoga for general stretching and to keep my joints moving. I am proud of what I have accomplished anyways and feel stronger and healthier and am determined to stick with this and just have patience. SparkPeople is a great tool that helps me keep myself in check. If anyone else has been stuck in a plateau for a long period of time I would love to hear your suggestions on overcoming it. Glad to be a part of this group.
