' turned 50 in September (been perimenopausal for about 2 years; periods every 4 to 6 months). Had 3 celebrations with friends. Feeling great!

Joined SP last June. Goal is to loose 10 pounds overall and especially to lose the mid-life mid-section. Having a hard time there.

Otherwise, I've always been very athletic; exercise every day so finding the time to exercise isn't the issue for me, it's losing the belly and hips extra inches. While tracking nutrition I notice I need to eat more protein and less fats. That's my hurdle. Just discovered Coach Nicole's excellent fitness videos and have done her abs/core video 2 days in a row now; it's easier to follow someone than make up my own routine; time passes more quickly and the effort seems easier. She's got some really great, simple, easy to follow videos her on SP.

Any suggestions on how to lose the mid-section, pass 'em along.
