Hello everybody! My name is Tonya and I have been on Sparkpeople for about 6 months. This is actually my second time back to Sparkpeople. I did the 30 day bootcamp in January and lost 6 pounds! Hi all,
I am feeling terrible between worry and the fact that I have fibromyalgia. My daughter is 21yrs.old and disabled she can't do anything for herself. And I'm not young anymore, my body is turning on me. I wanted to lose some weight nearly 50 pounds. But I'm doing what I can as I can. Somedays are better than others, and somedays aren't as good.

Please LORD take me where I need to go show me the way! I hurt so bad and I love my daughter so much! Guide me I could never do this before without YOU,MY BELOVED SAVIOR, and i can't continue to do it without YOUR GUIDIANCE!

Hi, my name is Jolie, I've been a spark member for about a week and half now and I am also reading the book, only on chapter 2. I gained a lot of weight because I quit smoking and had a baby. So now, we are planning on getting married in Nov 2010, and I need to lose at least 40 lbs that I gained. I've already lost 5 lbs and hope to keep it up! I've joined other websites, and never really got good feedback through other members, so I'm really loving this site and how everyone motivates eachother. Its nice to meet you all!

Hello all! My name is Jessica and I am really excited to start this challenge. I am not new to spark but this is a fresh start for me. I lost about 30lbs before my wedding last year and have gained 20lbs back in the past 9 months. After a lot of thought I realized that using the videos on spark was a huge part of my success before and I am going to make is a big part again. My first official weigh in and start will be sunday.

Hi! I'm Manda. I have been getting back into running and training for a half marathon, but I find I don't do anything but run. I need to work on my other muscle groups to really get in shape - oh, and lose about 50 pounds. I plan to ASAP and I am excited to see changes.

About me. I turned 30 a couple weeks ago. I have been married 2 1/2 years to a wonderful man that adds so much stress to my life! He is trying to finish school, so until then I am the sole worker in teh family. That gets really hard when I start not really liking work. It seems like I take work stress home and home stress to work. Somehow I forget about me in the middle and managed to gain 50 pounds since I got married. Not good. But it is time to be selfish and take care of myself!

I am woman of 53, with a miracle daughter, that wasn't suppose to live much after her birth, no matter how many different doctors; we took her to they kept saying; plan her funeral. Well she turned 21yrs. old last Thanksgiving. Because of arthritis she had a double hip-replacement, and now she can't walk.

I have tried very hard to ignore my own health problems until the pain became unbearable. So I found a rheumatalogist, not good news! I have fbromyalagia, spurs in my heels, bursitis, osterarthritis and a degenerative disc in lower back.

I use to help my husband on the family farm. And I can't now. At least his brother has retired, so now they can work at what their father started.

Please LORD take me where I need to go show me the way! I hurt so bad and I love my daughter so much! Guide me I could never do this before without YOU,MY BELOVED SAVIOR, and i can't continue to do it without YOUR GUIDIANCE!

Hi,

I am sarina and i weigh 190.5 pounds as of today and want to lose 60 pounds by summer. I am a fighter and i have been doing really good. 60 is a big number. But i'd really be fine as long as i fit in my bikini by summer. That is my goal and it is going to come true.

Hello Everyone, I had two knee replacements this year (2009) and couldn't exercise like I wanted. Since both knees are done and I am doing great there is no excuses but to get back into shape. P:S My Xmas present this year is a trip to Cancun in April. I would like to get to 130 lbs but more important I would like to tone up....

Hello, I am Cat. I was browsing through teams and I happened to find this one. I am 21 and (5'6) 260 lbs. I want to lose about 100 pounds and be down to 150/160. It is very hard for me to get motivated and to loose weight. I can manage it pretty well for a while but eventually the pounds pile on. I used to be really thin and petite when I was 2. Hello!! I just found this group (been taking a break form the weight loss drama) and I need some "fuel." I need to lose a lot of weight and it's complicated by PCOS that was under control, only isn't anymore. Anyhow-- looking forward to finding some motivation and looking through the board!! I am here to jump start some well needed weight loss... I have gained so much weight overtime. I believe I am ready to lose alot of it. Going from currently 217 to 160 before next summer. I know 160 still sounds like a lot to most but I havent seen that size since early college days, so wish me luck!

Hi all. I am new to the group. I thought perhaps joining a challenge might help keep me revved up so here I am.

I won't say that I am getting "swimsuit ready" cause I realized after being here a few months that I actually don't mind my body- I mind the fit of my clothes. I have a two piece swimsuit and it covers me tummy so I like it. I love my daughter but I don't need the stretch marks to look at.

But my birthday is in June and I want to be at my goal weight by my birthday.

Being healthy and active is important to me and so I am trying to lose weight. I am tired of puffing after stairs and being ready to pass out after a short swim. And I want a baby. And I promised myself a healthy pregnancy. Last time I was okay but not good all the time. My diet left deficiencies that made the days after the birth of my daughter hard. Lack of iron and other vitamins meanth that I had a tough time moving without losing my breath and that scared me.

Next time I am doing baby yoga and eating my beef raw if that is what it takes. I had my daughter without meds and IV's and other interventions. But It happened so fast I didn't feel like I did the things I wanted to do. Maybe next time I could do something a little more different. I don't think I could convince Pete to let me have a baby outside but maybe he would go for a birthing center? We'll see.

Hi I've been a member on Spark People for a year now but just this week I've really started to check out the Sparkteam pages. I'm excited to be a part of this team and I hope meet a few people in my area. I've reached my 1st goal weight and now on my way to my 2nd goal weight. This has been a hard couple of months and I've put on 5 lbs. And having a hard time getting back in to a schedule. So Monday is a new start for me and I'm hoping to reach my 2nd goal by the end of the year. It will take a lot of hard work and staying focus

i am new to this, i joined spark a while ago but was not feeling good about myself and unmotivated. im 5'10" and weigh 217. i feel disgusted with myself because i used to be atleast 50 pounds lighter and very athletic. my rheumatoid arthritis destroyed my body but now i have won it over and feel so much more in control. now its time to get my weight back in control!

Hi all. I have a wedding on the Mexican Riviera in May so this group couldn't be more timely for me. I joined SP back in Jan when I was mad at my husband...things got better and I fell off the wagon (seems I'm more than just an emotional eater). I've been going strong again now for 3 weeks and now have added incentive to stick with it (having one of those big birthdays at the end of this year and they are tearing down my old high school-so a reunion of sorts is planned-in 6 weeks). Hard going from the high school hottie to SAHM fattie. Childbirth was not at all kind to my body but when I look at all our family photos and realize I'm the one WAY in the back with just her head popping out...I know I am not giving those kids everything of me that I should.

My biggest problem with my body is...I have great toned muscles, Yes I can feel them...but they lay under a thick layer of stubborn fat, so I can't see them. I would love to meet them one day!! I enjoy strength training but hate cardio. Also my eating is not great...caloricly ok but content not so great.

I look forward to the challenge of this team!!

HI all. I am new to this bootcamp team! My buddy and I started this week! I did a 20 min. cardio kickbox last night in leiu of the Coach Nicole video. It is my normal daily cardio workout, so I figured it would be ok to substitute it. Looking forward to trying each of the daily workouts for the first time this week and hopefully, finally seeing some results at the end of the 28 days!!!

Hi all. I am new to sparkpeople and this team page. Started out this morning with the 10 min. kickboxing from yesterday and the lower body video. Will do the 30min. cardio later today when my 2 1/2 year old daughter goes down for her nap. I am excited to get up and moving. Exercising always makes you feel soooo good :-) Thanks for the free videos!!
