I am new to sp. I have never done anything like this before so I am excited. I have 3 kids and on the last one I had a c-section and now i cant lose the midsection weight. I hope to find a healthier way to live through this experience.

Hi! My name is ReNita and this is my first bootcamp and challenge. I am not sure how everything works. I am looking to lose a total of 50 lbs. I have recently lost 12lb within the last 2 weeks. I think by putting myself to the challenge I can obtain my goal. Does anyone have any helpful hints that have worked for them in the past for weight loss

Hi! This is my first SparkPeople challenge and I am so excited! I have done a few through my local gym and love them. My cholesterol is high, and it runs in my family, so my doctor suggested I work on more exercise and losing weight to get it down. Let's hope these last 10 lbs. do the trick:-) I love SparkPeople and am excited to finally meet some people through the boards as well to help keep me motivated!

Hi, I have never done a challenge before and I really need one. I have lost 24 pounds just from eating low carb..no more white flour or white sugar and I feel great but I need to tone up!
I am so computer illiterate..I want to know how to get one of those cute tracker things so I can track my weight loss. which tab is that under?
It is encouraging to read everyone elses comments. I really like spark people.

Hello everyone my goal for this bootcamp is to lose 5 pounds. I've pretty much hit a plateau and have unable to lose any weight. I'm currently 136 and my ultimate goal is to get under 130.

My problem is I get motivated for like 3 days or a week to eat really clean and workout often. Then however, I fall off that wagon and end up eating things I wouldn't normally eat and not exercising like I should. I'm hoping this bootcamp will keep me motivated to get to my goals for this summer!

Hello all.. I'm joining in this bootcamp to help me reach my weight loss for May goal of 8.5 pounds. I'm just starting back out with Spark after joining losing a bit then trying to go it alone and failing big time. Now I'm doing Spark and Weight Watchers only been doing it for a week but so far so good.



Life is full of choices.... You just have to wake up in the morning and make the best choice each day.

I came to realize last month that I feel better when I exersize and have been trying really hard to hit those goals, even if I don't necessarily enjoy it all the time. Pilates have become something great to do.

This is my first challenge. I am planning on doing the 10 min workouts in my office. I hope no one in the next building over has binoculars or call 911 because they see a woman flaying all over the place.

I have been committed to eating right since Fall 08, portion control and balancing my diet. I have lost 20 pounds that way. I decided to step it up and add excersize into my daily routine.

Anyone have a recommendation on the resistance bands?

This is my first team, first boot camp, and first ever post on Spark People!

Hi my name is Felice. I'm 38, employed full-time and the mother of two fine boys. My overall goal is to be in maintenance mode when I hit 40. Right now I'm feeling the need to change up my routine (and tracking my food wouldn't hurt) so here I am to work out with the rest of you fine folks and see some forward momentum get started in May!

It has been a while since I have been on here. Fell off the proverbial wagon, just like Oprah and Kirstie! Anyway, I am pulling myself back together and am finally going to lose the weight. My trainer (who I don't train with anymore, but she is a peach!) has challenged me to lose 8 lbs this month. I am going to do it!

Good morning everyone! I'm Pamela, 26, and I've been on here for about a year. I managed to not gain anything while studying for the bar, but when I went back for another degree and switched some meds, I gained a lot of weight. So I'm trying to lose the weight I've put on, plus lose the weight I've been stuck at for five years.

Well I have two friends that joined this group so I wanted to do it with them and really liked the exercises that were shown as examples! I know I am no where near swimsuit ready, seeing as how I have to lose over 100lbs but I am going to do this anyway! Good luck everyone!

I have a walking disability and do most of my excises sitting in a chair...oh yes, you can get your heartbeat up and even break a sweat. :) So, I will probably need to modify some of the exercises but I'm ready so bring it on!!! Hello~ I'm Margie and I need to lose at least 25 lbs for health and vanity reasons (actually 50 but it seems so overwhelming!). Hormones have taken over my body and i just look at food and gain weight. I know that I need to bump up by exercise and minimize my portions. What can I say, I love to eat! Hi there!

My name is India and am looking to lose about 40 pounds. It's been a long and steady haul, but I've gone from an 18 to a 10 over the course of about 4 years. I'm ready to slam this last 40 pounds and am confident that it will happen. My boyfriend and I have a trip planned for June 15th and I just want to feel good!

completely frustrated by all the new topic formed emails... can this feature be turned off so people can just not create any new ones???? i left boot camp because of this and am frustrated that my Blackberry is being overrun by SP emails

Hi everyone! I'm Kelly, and I'm a Sr Financial Analyst in the Twin Cities.

I've been on SP before to try to lose weight (again), but now I've been told that I've got borderline high cholesterol, so back to SP it is, for my diet and exercise tracking so that I can avoid cholesterol meds!

This bootcamp has perfect timing - I'm going to Hawaii on a reward trip with my husband, who's done stellar work this past year... and I want my swimsuit to fit a little better. :)
