I hope you are doing okay. Spring has arrived and sometimes just that can improve our moods. Days are longer, the sun is warmer and brighter. I do pray you are okay and healing well with a good support system.

I'm so glad you're here. One of the hardest parts of the grieving is how alone you can feel. And here you are not alone. emoticon

Welcome SewingLady. I am so sorry for your loss. Not being married, I cannot even begin to imagine what you are feeling. Please seek support in your area if you feel you need it.
Also take a look around the team. Some wonderful courses have been posted already that I think you would find helpful at this time - the journaling course especially.
I am glad you came to a positive place to get support and find positive ways to cope. In your loss and grief, you still had the right sense to seek out the right kind of help. May God be with you at this time.

Sincerely,
Sheri Adams emoticon

emoticon SEWINGLADY145,

I am glad you joined us. This is a caring, supportive team.

I am so sorry for the loss of your husband. I know how difficult it must be. I live with my mom after my dad passed away.

It sounds as though you still have work to keep you busy. That is great that your work is doing a health challenge.

Check out all the great ideas our Leader has posted and know we/I are here for you.

I am new to this group. I live in Brick, NJ, am 60 yrs old, a newly widow whick is very hard. I have three daughters and three grandchildren who help so much with my effort. I totally feel that I am stressed most of the time. Some of it is self induce and other times it is enviroment. I do think that I am handling this stress but like the idea of advice from others.
My work is also doing a Health Challenge and one of the first goals had to do with stress.
