If fruit is what you miss most, then let fruit be the first thing you add after you complete your first two weeks. We're asked to give up the fruit to help us get rid of the carb cravings. It's worth it, and it gives us something to look forward to.

Sure the fruit can come into play later on, cause it is definitely natural and good for you. I know that in the beginning it is more stringent. I, like you, am just starting right along with you. A great supportive group here. Let me know how you are doing and what you are eating. We can be more accountable that way. Terri

Welcome Kat!

You CAN do this if you truly want to. You might very well have to modify your exercise routines to fit your particular situation, but that's OK! You can still reach your goals.

SB is a great, healthy plan that can be fed to your entire family, although you might choose to add a few foods to their meals that you won't share.

You have a wonderful opportunity to teach your children NOW that reaching for an apple or a piece of cheese is the thing to do...and they will..if all those "nasty" foods aren't in the house.

Oh how I wish I'd known what I know now when my children were growing up.

Don't hesitate to ask for help if you need it. We all help each other.

Hi my name is Kathryn (Kat)
I am 31 mother of 4 one boy and three girls
married to my sweetie Steve
I am a stay at home slave (oops sorry I mean mom)
I have always been in pretty good shape but really let myself go and now I am 42 pounds out of my comfort area. I weigh 182 today goal is 140 I am 5'7
I have a couple of difficulties one being I have arthritis in my spine and the other being a total hysterectomy that was done in oct last year. so with all that I am going to get started on my diet.
