Hello Jennifer! Welcome! I'm Carolyn, the groups"leader" and I am so gload you joined. I am, and have been on Cinnamon with Chromium for more than a year. It's great for me. I also encourage the GF. It's difficult to do, of course, but even just lessening it in your diet will help, until you can, should you choose, to do GF. I am not GF. Main reason is because of the added expense of making things GF, but do GF when I can. Anyhoo...glad you are here!

Hi Jennifer, I am glad you are here. This is an encouraging place to be. I have been fighting PCOS for at least 7 years. Though I was fighting it before that but did not know what I was fighting! It sounds like you are on the right track! May I suggest another thing you might try. A PCOS friend told me how her Dr suggested she go gluten free. Her cycle returned within a month of being GF and then she conceived 3 months after going GF, I just wanted to feel better so I tried GF. I had my first 28 day cycle EVER when I went GF. I also had so much more energy. I really had come to believe that I just had to have an hour nap every day. My husband even scheduled the nap in because he knew I could not do without it. Now, I hardly ever nap. I am not GF currently because we have so many social obligations and I can't offend people by not eating what they offer. However, I steer clear of gluten as much as I can without offending. On the whole, I feel the best I have in years! GF can be hard but it might be something you would want to consider. Good luck!

Hello my name is Jennifer, I am newly married now 2 months. I was dignosed with PCOS in May 2010. I have tried to get a grip on what to do naturally with PCOS. I was put on Metformin at 250mg, it did fine, one day of a tummy upset, then I moved to 500mg and I did not like the way I was tired, and could not go to the bathroom (sorry TMI). So I ma here looking for better ways I do have vitex, I would like to try and back to cinnamon and chouruim ( i think that is how it is spelled.)
