Hi Kelly,

There's a very good chance that losing weight will get rid of or at least reduce a lot of your symptoms and help you become fertile again. Studies have found that losing as little as 5% of your body weight can trigger your menstrual cycle to return again properly.

D chiro inositol has also helped a lot of women with PCOS become pregnant when infertility drugs haven't worked.

There's information on it here:

tu
ral/dci/

I sell it, but there are other places that sell it as well.

That's a bit cute that your daughter is pestering you to have another one ;)

Good luck!

Hey There,

I'm happy I found this group. I'm hoping with everyones support and if I work hard I can get rid of some of my symptoms. I'm hoping my next year to get pregnant. My 5 year old has been after both my Husband and I. I've taken some infertility drugs and nothing is working. My doctor told me that if I lose weight that i'd be able to go back to the way I used to be. Oh how I can't wait for that:)

Thanks for the info.

Kelly

Hi Kelly,

Welcome to our group. I hope you'll have a good look around and find lots of information to help you on your journey towards better health.

PCOS doesn't make things easy, but it definitely is manageable once you understand how it works. I've put a lot of the information I've learned up in a website so that others can access the information. I hope you'll have a look - the link is in my signature at the bottom of this post.

All the best - looking forward to getting to know you.

I'm 24 years old with a lot of weight to lose. I've never had a weight problem, but 5 years ago when my Daughter was born I put on a bunch of weight. I've tried a lot of things to loose weight, but nothing seems to work. After my Daughter was born I was diagnosed with pcos and was told that I need to loose weight. My husband and I would like to add to our family, but right now that just isn't an option. We've tried taking infertility drugs, but nothing seems to work. I'm hoping within the next year or so my symptoms go away. I'd love to be able to run around with my Daughter and gain back the energy I used to have. I know the way I'm living now isn't the way I want to live and want to loose weight and be heathly for not just myself, but my family as well. I can't wait to put on a sexy "red" dress for my husband. It's been years that I've been able to do that for him. My overall goal is to be at 140 pounds and am setting small goals of losing 25 pounds at a time. That way I won't get so over whelmed and give up.
