I have been gaining back some daily energy when I behave and take a tight hold in scheduling meals pills and sleep. Lots of deep sleep helps weight loss.

I added 1/8 cup of fresh shredded red cabbage and one single cherry tomato to my lunch the other day. Within hours my lips were three times as thick and a migraine stayed for 2 days. My liver was not happy with me. I originally took these rich in citric acid foods (and all the nasty preservatives) out of my diet a few years ago when I discovered my intolerance to citric acid even in whole fresh foods. Anything carbonated like soda or calcium supplements are a thing of my past. Most fresh and packaged fruit and dehydrated foods are to remain on my no-noís list, as well.

That recent food challenge test was quite an eye opener. I love knowing I can avoid inflammation and pain with the removal of the foods, medicines, and health and beauty products that cause it!! Deep sleep needs training and guidance today when partying and long work hours used to be my normal actions.

hi again... had computer troubles and didn't see the replies. I have been seeing a naturopath to help me through this and starting to catch on more. Seem to ok with tomatoes . Naturopath is very happy with what I am eating and how I am handling this. Been staying away from everything that could bother me. My liver is working slow but is working... takes mine about 8 hours [might be a bit less now] to do its thing where normal person's takes about 5 or 6 but this will improve as more of the intolerances that have built up leave. Will be tested again in few months to see if it has improved ... .. I thank you for you comments and look forward to following the group.

I am severely allergic to potato and tomato. I didn't know in the beginning that if you are allergic to one, you are probably allergic to the other. Look up night shade planets and dig a bit deeper. I found out that this includes all peppers except black pepper and white pepper. I am also allergic to cherries, melons; they all belong to the night shade plants. What do they all have in common? Something called Sto1 and pantentin (hopefully I spelled that correctly). The point is I still stayed sick and FINALLY figured it out!

I am sorry for your loss. The list of food no-noís may still grow longer so be prepared to speak with a nutritionist to be sure to get the necessary nutrients when these foods leave your plate.

The prolific places that amazing potato goes is hard to get past. The stress of trying to avoid cane sugar gets worse. It seems the entire social construct has incorporated these two foods into everything! These sensitivities can stem from a liver issue. The sulfur plant care of potatoes and actually measure high amounts of sulfur molecules in the cane sugar plant. And both of those foods are list high on the glycemic index. These factors can be a secondary the hidden culprit to difficult weight loss..

The real high glycemic values eating potatoes and cane sugar often can lead to insulin resistance then diabetes. Whereas the sulfur is factored into both of those foods and maybe sulfur is hard to digest than in the past. Is your liver swollen clogged or just fatigued? Are you prone to urinary tract infections? Are you deeply tired all the time? These may be signs of something else. Something like hormone imbalance and shortages in certain nutrients from diet choices or mechanical miss function somewhere along the digestive process. There are amino acids and enzymes in supplement form to take with that food for digestive comfort and absorbsion. I am not a doctor but have learned through experience about losing those versatile foods from my own plan.

The body will always needs sugar/saccharides isnít that delightful. The sugar molecules bind with protein to make every cell there is. Some sweet things can heal and some just stir desire and tease. A whole food can have a sugar but not taste sweet to the tongue. I found the artificial stuff is worse for my health so after much research and body experimenting. When I want something even sweeter I reach for honey and xylitol from birch tree inner bark. The processed stevia does not seem to be my friend. The processing turns it into a no-no on my list. I have learned why due to my journal writings and food challenge diet where I find the good things I can eat. This is reviewed with my doctors and my comprehensive new food list shrinks and my supplement support grows again. But I sleep deeper and feel better for doing it and sticking with it.

On the bright side when these foods leave the bad cholesterol count may fall and any lingering signs of insulin resistance may be placed on a lower risk margin.

Hi to all.. Fairly new to the group [again] and fairly new to the intolerances as well. Found out through food allergy test that I have an intolerance to potato and sugar.. and potato seems to be in a lot of things... Still detoxing from all the intolerances that have built up in my body. Was born without the enzymes to digest both of these ...and I just turned 55 so there is a lot of stuff to get rid of.
