Hi Everyone:

Someone stopped by my page and encouraged me to join this group. I hope that I can keep up with my committment since I have most often gone a bit solo by just tracking individual areas that work for me. I am game at losing weight and being able to tone up my body as well. Hence my decision to join and I would like to commit to doing things througout the day that would maximize my program as well, so any suggestions are welcome.

Hi, I'm new. I've been on Sparkpeople awhile , lost about 34 pounds, had an injury that took a long time to heal and kept me inactive, gained some back, and am now back in action.

Just did my first 25 seated knee liftes, not easy, but I survived.

Looking at this team for just a quick boost in a kind of game format.

I'm in the south of France, so I often post things very early compared to others because of time differences, just in case it ever comes up.

I am at week #3 with SP and love it. I am looking for a challenge everyday I can do while walking down the halls and up and down the stairs of our 3 floor elementary school. I am well on my way to changing old habits and replacing them with good ones. Everytime I use the restroom I fill my water bottle. Because everyday I would walk past the water fountain to the pop machine. I am glad to see a great motivational team. It was suggested so I joined. emoticon

Good Morning. . .

My name is Sharon and I have been on SP for 7 months now. I have quite a bit of weight to lose, and it has been a real challenge. I just recently completed my first challenge - Official 28 day Bootcamp Challenge. That was tough, but go me into incorporating some fitness each day. So far I have lost 10 pounds, and I am hoping that this will help me break the plateau I seem to have landed on.

Hello, my name is Aimee. I have been on SP for over a year and I'll make progress, lose 8-15 pounds... Then gain some back. I've been on this rollercoaster for quite so time, so my weight is pretty close to where I started. My problem is that I don't stay focused and motivated. So when I came across this group, I thought it would help me to focus on exercising daily.

returning to the team need a need a push after spending the summer with the kids being out of school. I have restarted my workout and need a variety of workout and I know I will get it here.

Thanks. Job took over my spare time and I cannot work out as much as I used to. Add a lot of stress and turning 30 this year (in Dec) and the "picture" is complete.

PS: not allowed to lift anything wt my left arm

Hi. I'm not new to SP. Been on the site since Apr 2006 (other user, though). lost from 165 lbs to 125 lbs or so...then took a break (personal stuff) and here I am again at 137 lbs or so moaning abt being "overweight" by 1 lb.

Ideally I'd love to get back to 125 lbs. Don't exactly have a set time frame.

Hi, everybody!

I'm Ramona... I've been here at SparkPeople since 2008. I wanted to lose somewhere in the neighbourhood of 80-90 lbs by my 50th birthday. With one thing and another (including a year recovering from a brain injury), physically I am still pretty much where I started. I turn 50 in a little less than 6 months, and I want to see just how close I can get to goal weight by then. I also need to get more comfortable with that line between 'selfishness' and 'focused'.

I was invited to join this team over a year ago, and I've finally made it! I look forward to getting to know you, to finally putting the business of losing behind me, and to getting on to maintaining!

I just found this team and I am very glad I did. What a great concept!! I am interested in stopping the old age spread that I seem to be experiencing (no weight gain, but the clothes don't fit the same) and in challenging myself every day. I typically do Cross Fit workouts in the morning so I think this is a great supplement.
