Hi my name is Katie and I've been on SparkPeople for a little over a month now. I've already lost 18 pounds and I feel awesome! I signed up for this group then but haven't really got into the social aspect of the site yet. So here goes! I am 27 and live in PA with my husband and almost 2 year old daughter. I work in marketing research, though I did go to school for my Master's in International Relations and Human Rights...what a change, right?! I've been overweight pretty much my whole life. It's normal for me. But when I started working out and eating better, I realized the way I had felt, physically and mentally, all of these years was not normal, and that there was something better. Now I make better food choices without thinking and enjoy going to the gym (sometimes). Now that I'm the road to my goal, I'm looking to refine the process and target certain trouble areas in my diet and exercise. So that's me and where I am in my journey!
