@URBANAUDREYE Glad you like the idea. My husband and I try to think of all kinds of way to keep moving and still enjoy doing other things. We are in our 60s now and we see folks getting less and less mobile...we try to use our love of reading to help us keep up our steps and stay healthy, at the same time. emoticon

Howdy!

Walking and reading is a great combination! If I've been reading for 30 minutes, I'll get up and walk for 1000 steps, as a break. Helps me enjoy my reading more because the walking keeps me from getting stiff.

Hi! I love to read but do not have a lot of time to do so. I do help out at the library at my son's school so am surrounded by books all the time.

This is my second go-around at SparkPeople... This time, it will be a permanent lifestyle change!
