HOPE you are inspiring & thoughtful. I too stuff food into my mouth before bed. I believed it was necessary to be able to sleep. Now I've added wine for 2 reasons - to keep me from eating sweets, and to induce sleep. my undertone is because I deserve this cause I'm old.


I don't have the excuse of stress . . . I have no reasons to be stressed, except declining abilities.

Hi everyone.

I'm Trace. 39 (for 2 more weeks), divorced, no kids, 4 jobs.

Yeah, that last bit wasn't a typo.

Job 1 - Pays the bills. School clinic assistant. (First aid, evaluations, emergency response, medical records, general assistance for counselors and nurse).
Job 2 - Helps me build up for a brighter future. Online freelance (Amazon turk and similar)
Job 3 - Dream career being build. Video game composer and sound designer.
Job 4 - Singer/Actress. Mostly letting this one fade away except that it's mostly my only social life too.

I've been juggling all of these for a couple of years now, in addition to family stress (living with ageing parents to help out).

And have come to realize recently that my late night snack-athons are pretty much a stress fueled attempt to numb myself with food so that I can relax and sleep, with a great big undertone of "Because I deserve a break from this".

So.... this group seemed like a really good place to be! Looking forward to meeting you all.



Because the difference between a dream and a goal is a plan.
