Just do the best you can. Don't hurt yourself. If you can get into the water, and just strole around a bit, or walk to the mailbox, and back. Do what you can and you will get better at it.

I have had 3 major surgeries in the last 3 years, and I know about beginning all over again. I have done too much, and then had to wait and start over, more than once.

Now, I am just trying to begin again, doing a bit at a time.

Whatever works for you. that is the beauty of this SP journey to me. You figure out what it is that works for you.

I know you may be a single parent, or you may be single and took care of siblings or other people's children, or you may just be giving mom a break. You're doing very well, and I do believe that you will make each and every one of your goals. Girl, what are you talking about chair marching!? I didn't do any of that stuff first, I did some weight training or resistance bands. It took me a long time to work up to that.

ALEXSGIRL1 I read your blog yesterday about the procedure and hope it all went well - need to check and see if you updated :-)

Nancy Jean thanks for the suggestion. I've actually tried the chair exercises before and that led to a knee injury (chair marching and my knees didn't get on well!) but I'm still doing some of those and part of that team which is a great help

Well, emoticon Liberty Joy and emoticon to SP Land!

I understand your plight about having some pre-beginner workouts and the way I worked that for me, was by doing the chair exercises. Some of them can be intense, but if you search on the internet, you can find a whole slew of any and every kind of chair exercise. Just take baby steps, as you build up your stamina, and you'll be SURPRISED how fast you'll progress. Keep posting so we can encourage you and just emoticon as I know that emoticon !!!

I rejoined SP recently and just starting to pick up my exercise this week ... I've been doing some walking and now to try to add on that. Wishing people would produce pre-beginner workouts since a lot of the beginner ones are still beyond me emoticon but still managed to find some and hopefully soon i can do more. emoticon Love the ten minute idea and push to get exercise in, and glad to be joining this team
