Hey!

I've lost about 7 lbs in the last month on my new diet plan. It's certainly the best one I've ever been on. I just noticed some flab on the bottom of my arms. Golly. I wonder if it'll go away with the weight training? I sure hope so.

I have been getting most of my exercise working around the house the last week or so.

At least I have the benefit of accomplishing something and getting exercise!

Hi,

I'm new to this team, but not to SparkPeople. I love this place!
The reason I'm joining this team is to get started with weight training. It's something new to me. I have a 15 lb.medicine ball I can use and
I want to buy some 10 lb weights. I tried some 15 lb weights and they were too heavy for me so the 10 lb weights seem to be perfect. I want to use them correctly so I'm going to look up the right technique. Do you have any articles on SP you would recommend for weight training? I need some motivation, because I'm not so inclined to do weights. It will be a new habit to create for me. I am a swimmer and speed walker and love it.
