hope all is well with everyone's goals! so far so good!

welcome, cheri!

i have found with tracking and eating well it's best to take it one day, or even one meal, at a time. if i can eat well one whole day it makes it so much more motivating to eat well the next. then when the scale starts showing your hard efforts, it's even better. my goal is to track everyday, but sometimes i get burnt out or just too busy to do it every day. if you just focus on what you're doing you will learn correct portions and calorie range. it becomes second nature even when you are unable to track 100%.

I have been doing pretty well with the exercise, except I did way too much on Sunday, and had a funeral today, so I am kind of emotionally and physically exhausted. tomorrow I will be better.

the food is an entirely different problem

You've come to the right place to get motivated! I also started out with the small videos. In fact the first video I tackled was a 9 minute video, and it took me 2 months before I was able to get through the entire video. You see, I had just gotten out of the hospital, when my Curves Coach told me, that all Curves ladies track here, so I started tracking here. I love it and I know I'll be doing for the rest of my life.

Hi. My name is Cheri and I joined this team because I am having trouble staying motivated enough to start an exercise routine. So I decided to take small steps like starting out with 10 minutes at a time whether it be a day or several 10 minute workouts spread out.

Congrats on being here and setting goals. Yours sounds like a really good one. I have been doing the same for some time, and am planning on continuing. I also could have written your post, as I have been here, and stayed, but have not lost lots of weight. I just think about how much weight I would have gained had I not been here.

You never fell off the wagon, so to speak. What happened with the journey that you were traveling, something came up to cause you to have a detour! A detour could've been, extra hours at work, taking care of your near and dearest, financial, medical, or just saying that you need a break to take a scenic route. It's happened to all of us, and the best thing about the detour, is that it always brings us back to the main road, where we just keep pressing on!

I'm personally holding you accountable to your challenge to yourself to do at least 10 minutes of exercise each day, for the next 100 days. In fact, I'm joining that challenge with you! We'll work this together! If there is anything I can do for you, just HOLLER and I'll do the best that I can to give you a hand up!!!

i found out today there are 100 days left in 2014. what do i want to do with them? i want to workout! my goal is to get at least 10 minutes of fitness in for the next 100 days.
other than that, i'm shanna from washington state and i've been on sp for quite awhile. i've fallen off many wagons, but i've never given up. i've wanted to! i'm finally on track and getting this done!
