I have been working out for 3 weeks now and its amazing how great my body feels! I don't even care about the weight loss right now! lol - Never thought Id say that!

I will tell you that being on this team has helped a great deal.

Begin with your 10 minutes daily. Even if you just walk in place moving arms and legs, or dancing to some spicy music.

Making sure that I do 10 minutes every day has increased my confidence greatly. As I am getting stronger, I am doing more, but if I just do 10 minutes, I have reached my goal.

You will be very surprised how inspiring it can be to just set a goal and reach it.

If you don't do it one day, just do it the next. One day at a time, you can do this.

Hello everyone!

Im new to the team but not new to sparkpeople. Ive been feeling so stressed about my size/weight that I had signed up for gastric bypass out of desperation in February - even though I didn't really want it. After 7 months of being on the list I called to double check that I was on and whoops my doctor didn't do it correctly and I am not on the list. I am going to put my name on the list again, but I reeeeeeeally don't want to do the surgery!

I want to learn to make exercise a part of my regular routine, I want to stop eating fast food so often and start cooking again!

I have been trying to get back to the gym for months (hey Im paying for the membership) but cant seem to get back. So I thought if I do a little bit at home - at least 10 minutes - It'll feel easier to go back? Or hey maybe I'll just go for the gym for 10-20 minutes of something...

Anyway, looking forward to becoming a member of the team!!
