Congrats on your interviews! At least that is a step in the right direction. I am right there with you with being frustrated. I have sent out quite a few resumes and haven't gotten any calls for interviews. So you are a step ahead of me at least. :)
I think it is great you are exercising instead of eating. I know that sometimes it can be hard not to go to food for comfort. But one thing this journey has taught me is that eating doesn't help anything. If anything it can make you feel worse.
Keep your head up and it sounds like you are really trying your best to get employed! Soon you will find the right employer for you!
Good luck with all your interviews!

Welcome to the Team!

Great choice: exercise over eating...! :-)

It sounds like you ARE turning over every stone to turn up a job for yourself...keeping you in my prayers and crossing every digit in hopes for an opportunity SOON!

Perhaps an idea to let your husband know what you've got cooking for yourself might be to make it more "visible" such as by posting a dry-erase board with things you've done crossed out and upcoming things to do listed. Sometimes us guys need a 2 x 4 approach and you have to make it VERY!

Best of fortunes to your efforts...keep coming back to post your trials, tribs and SUCCESSES to get the MOST from our SparkTeam!

Hi, I'm a middle aged computer geek in Missouri. This is the first time I have been out of work in 20 years and I am having a hard time with this. My husband is trying to be supportive, but it's getting hard. He is really stressing over how we are going to make the house payment and it is slipping through. I had two interviews yesterday, two more today, and two more face to face later this week. I am doing everything I can to find work, but I don't know that he sees that. I am really down, but am exercising instead of eating. I'm hoping this group can help me cope with this situation.

That which does not kill us makes us stronger!
