I may not be new to Sparkpeople but since I keep forgetting it exists and keep forgetting to stay on track here I am again. Although I would like to take my goal setting offline as much as possible. Spending everyday doing a bunch of health accounting is not something I plan on doing. But I will be doing some basics like tracking my weight, measurements and feelings each week overall and as I get motivated to do more I will. I find I get stuck down internet rabbit holes and get distracted (even if by good things like Sparkpeople and Sparkpeople has opportunities at every corner for a bunch of busy work for sure) that just keep me glued to the computer and that isn't really beneficial to my weight loss goals, it has only enabled my health to worsen. It would be nice to make in real life connections with accountability buddies to help me keep going and get out of the house. Perhaps make long terms friends with good support systems for weigh loss and living healthfully. I have a back condition I've been putting up with almost 20 years which has limited my mobility. I've done a pretty good job maintaining my current weight with my diet but as I age my health worsens due to the lack of mobility and the fears associated with my back have prevented me from being truly independent, as I no longer drive because of it. So yeah, I need to get out and live life. Who is with me? Message me and we can get the ball rolling, exchange info, get to know each other, that sort of thing. To start I'm turning 39 this year, married, no kids (except the furkids) and I like walking around Chollas Lake for starters, eventually building up to Lake Murray, Cowles Mountain hikes or even some of the La Mesa walks events they have with all those stairs. I also want to get in better enough shape so going to shows are not so arduous for me. I live a clean but not sober lifestyle as I do enjoy my drinks and yes I still smoke, but with getting out that should become more recreational and eventually nonexistent. I'm not trying to work miracles there, as all the old quitting method stand bys have failed miserably. I just know once I start getting active though my stress levels will be better and I will have a lessoned tendency to put yet another nail in the coffin.

So if anyone is local to me ,message me! Not sure how active this team is anymore.
