Yes I have taken the advice on the calories. I am glad however that I survived on less for the 4 days of not working out cause I still lost! I am back to working out though, just not anything that uses my ankles, so I only did 10 min of yoga and the 55 min was spent on the bean elite doing crunches, sit ups, pelvic tilts, ab rocks and all my weight lifting for the arms!

Welcome. I have to reiterate what Cheryln said about the calories.
Hope that you're able to keep up with your plans with the injuries. I have so many things I have to be careful of as I age. I just don't dare take a bad fall as it could have a really bad consequence. Hard to watch it all the time though.

I am not skilled to understand what GOD has willed what GOD has planned I only know at his right hand stands one who is my SAVIOR

Welcome! Sorry to hear you got hurt. It is easy to do with all our snow and ice. Hope you heal well. You are sure doing a lot of working out, so that's good. Personally, I would recommend increasing your calories. Going that low is really not good for your health and may just put your metabolism into hibernation and shut down, which would sabatoge all your hard work. Have you supplied your info to Sparks for what they recommend your daily intake to be? If you eat healthy 1100-1200 calories, I bet you'd still lose steadily. Good luck to you.

I am 45, and need to lose about 100 lbs for my health. I am cooking healthy, eating less, stopped drinking pop, gave up chocolate and all sweets. I have been working out all Jan from 20 min the first week to 60 min a day the 16th and on, until I got hurt last Thur from slipping and sliding in wet snow - I pulled back muscles that were tired from workouts already and messed up both ankles and feet. Chiropractor fixed feet and ankles but both are still sore, hot tub yesterday helped back but too cold to shovel snow out to use again tonight, may try a bath but not sure if I will be able to get out again! I have started counting calories and try to not eat over 900 calories a day and I try to burn off as much as I can. Most of my workouts are on the WII I start with yoga and move to aerobics and finish with balance games! I also every third day do my bean exerciser for abs with crunches, situps, and use weights for my arm workout. I have 4 chihuahua's and 1 shepard mix, 1 ferrett, and one declawed housecat. I love my pets, I have hobbies of knitting, gardening, and scrapbooking. Although my scrapping is on hold cause for right now I teach a rocketier program to Civil Air Patrol Cadets, cause I am a senior member and in charge of aerospace and safety. Other than that I substitute teach occasionally, and the rest of the time I am very happy staying home and taking care of my house, garden, pets and my wonderful husband - who never complains about eating healthy or having salad every nite! I am on a couple other weight sites, but just dont seem to find the fit I am looking for, so it brought me here!
