Hi Clare ... welcome back! Thanks for posting about Walk North Dakota. I went to the web site and signed up too. I did a lot of walking this summer, first getting ready for the National Scout Jamboree, then participating in the NSJ. Walking in the heat and humidity of Virginia was a lot more difficult than walking in the cool North Dakota weather. I do a combination on indoor (Wii "Walk it Out" and Leslie Sansone DVDs) and outdoor walking. I love finding new paths and trails to explore at Downstream campground near Riverdale/Pick City.

May you always have

welcome back, I was running in the early morning then slipped off after I did my first 5K (both running and walking it) then the skeeters came out and it got too hot. Now that it's almost Fall, I'm going to start all over again.

Good luck to you!

Hi, My name is Clare. I am from Mercer Co. I am back on Sparks again. I joined back in 2006 and pretty diligent through the years except for 2010. I really fell off and have been exercising off and on but not eating the right foods and have really gained the weight back. I am a Viking fan, love to watch football. I have 4 granddaughters and a step granddaughter and 2 step grandsons. I try and spend as much time as possible with the granddaughters. I like to use WATPs (Walk Away the Pounds) dvds for exercise indoors. I like to garden. Just joined Walk North Dakota on the web and trying to get myself back onboard by getting in 10,000 steps/day. Started this week w/ 30 min of WATPs 5X/wk and will build on this to get my steps to goal. Happy to be on the Spark Page of North Dakota once again. I am a native North Dakotan. See you on the posts.
