Hey there Stephanie....

Welcome to the team, sounds like you have been through alot in such a short time, I am glad you are doing well so far. Switching to the diet soda ia a good idea, may take some getting use to but you can do it. As for the water deal, try getting some of the crystal light additives and drinking it that way. I like water so I do good with drinking it plain....

You will find plenty of support on this site and be able to achieve what you are setting out to do....

Good Luck

See you on the lighter side

Hi everyone, my name is Stephanie, i'm gonna be 20 next week, I know it seems as if I may be too young to worry about dieting, well I know I am, but I also have depression which sometimes causes me to over-eat, plus I have had some medical problems and a couple transplants, so therefore I have to stay within a certain weight limit becuase of where they put my new kidney, I can't put any extra weight on it or else it could cause it to fail, which I don't want happening, I've done ok on my own so far as cutting down a lot on pop and now a got advice from a friend to switch to diet pop, which I will start to do, Ive also gotten better at drinking more powerade, but I do need some more motivation to drink water otherwise the only time I do is when I take my medication at three seperate times in the day, I do drink a whole glass when I do but I know with the right motivation and support I can drink more and make myself a healthier person along with healthier eating habits.
