Hi, Welcome.
Spark People has a lot of tools to help you. Exercise is always good but there are times when it isn't the best like you said. I'm not sure what the answer is for you. But tracking your food intake is also a good idea and then you can figure out how you can burn those calories. Check out all your options.

Hi--just joined--not too sure on the how to's. I have to lose 21 lbs in 6 months according to my doctor. I work full time on a job on my feet 8 hrs a day. I have rhuemoid arthritis, osteoarthrits and fibromyalgia. Sometimes exercise is not an option. I know I need to lose this weight and could use all the help I can get!
