Hi & welcome! :)

SparkPeople is filled with lots of encouraging folks! I found it easier for me to lose & keep weight off by making small changes. Once those changes stick, I change something else, and so on and so on. It's never easy, but it does get manageable. No one is perfect. We all slip up, but tomorrow is always another day to begin. I have Hashimotos, which has caused many health problems, weight gain being just one thing to deal with. I'm to have a total thyroidectomy on May 14th, and am not wanting to gain any more weight. I already have 60 plus pounds to lose. I do good on a "diet" for about three days, then for some reason I get off track by eating something I shouldn't. I'm determined that I will succeed this time though. I do better with encouragement, and am hoping to find what I need to succeed on here. I need some support.
