Hi and welcome to the team. It sounds like you have a complicated set of circumstances going on and I don't have the expertise to offer any sound suggestions. But I do think it would be wise of you to go to the Community tab near the top of the page and click on Message Boards on the drop-down menu. Then once you get to the Message Boards, post about your situation under two topics - Diet & Nutrition and Fitness & Exercise. They are both located under the "Get Help Here" heading.

Not only will you get feedback from other Sparkers, but you will also very likely get some feedback from one of the professional Spark Coaches. I hope they can help you figure out what's going on and clear up some of the confusion.

Hi im trying this weight loss thing. Im the most confused person ever when it comes to nutrition and calories. They call for me to eat more food than i have ever ate in one day but i have 120lbs to loose. I have cut out sugars, caffeine, cigarettes, and eating lean meats with vegis. Im sure im doing something wrong because my scales are not budging and I eat 1000 calories less than they call for. After my daily exercise I still have those calories open. I also do 60 min of daily circuit training and 90 min of walking at 3mph. so yay me I hope this helps me do things right!
