Welcome back Debra! I would encourage you to set some non-scale goals for yourself, and set up some rewards for yourself when you achieve them. Resolve to walk or stretch for 10 minutes a day (for example). Set something that is pretty easy to achieve and build on it. I find that I feel so much better when I do the things like daily exercise, drinking my water - that it is pretty easy to stay on track! You can do it! emoticon

I have been stuck at the same weight for quite some time. I know it gets frustrating. Try to focus on NSV to help keep you motivated. That nasty little number on the scale is a big liar!!! I don't even weigh myself anymore unless the Dr weighs me.

I find that focusing on how I feel is more of an indicator of how well I am doing more then the scale. Things that help keep me focused is being able to run a little further or a little faster than I could a month before, lifting extra reps or sets or heavier weight.

How about starting a little reward system for every time you work out...I use the charity miles app to hold me accountable, every month I pick a charity and for every mile I run, walk or bike a corporate sponsor donates $0.25 and with my monthly goal of 100 miles that is a $25 donation. It makes me feel like I am doing something good for someone else. This month my miles are for Feeding America.

Just a couple ideas.

Good Luck!!!

Hello my name is Debra I have decided not to give up on my goal to change my life for the better .I lost a great amount of weight and then I was just stuck because I couldn't loose any more. Its been almost two years since I tried to get back on track. So I am feeling defeated so I decided to come back to Sparkle and get support and possible find a group or walking group in Charlotte to help me get restarted and to give me some tips on how to get back on track, and me remain accountable. I just need help so if any can help me or give me any suggestions please feel free top reach out to me .I also need tips on navigating through the site as well. Thank you ahead of time ....Debra
