Okay, I'm the newbie! I have no idea what to say, but here it goes!! I decided to give this site a chance hoping to will make me stick with my goals! This isn't the first time I said "I'm going to lose weight", for years I've been saying that. But I realized that I was doing it for the wrong reasons! I was doing it for everyone else, not me! I truly believe that's why I failed every time. No more! I'm doing this for ME!! I want to be healthy and fit and enjoy life more. My goal is to lose 50-60 lbs by my birthday, January 30th. But my smaller goal is to complete in my first 5K October 4th of this year!! It"s something I always wanted to do, so I signed up with my step dad (its his first one to!) My plan is to walk/run for three days and two days of Zumba or some other fitness. And of course watch my calorie intake! And suggestions would be awesome! And also how everyone stays motivated!! Thanks! :)
