Welcome to Spark People,
If you are new here... let me be the first to welcome you to both Spark People and to the North Carolina Team.
There are a few things you can do to make your NEW start more successful.
1) Introduce yourself on the "Introduce Yourself" board under Community Message Boards, I think you will find a great deal of support there.
2) Start your own Spark Page... this is where you can set your goal, make plans and it is also a place where other spark members will be able to come and give you support, get to know a bit about you (as much as you want to share), you will get spark goodies for support, you can write blogs about your accomplishments and what is happening with you and your journey. It will also provide you a place to start gaining spark points that will let you level up in Spark People.
3) Do search for common interests... find some other sparks groups you may want to join. Join them carefully that you don't get overwhelmed and can participate in the groups actively. You will meet some great people here, that want nothing better for you than to see you succeed and you can offer your support to them.

This is a great place ... explore and make yourself at home.
I like the commitment you made with your first day in your new home brings you. Have a great journey ... wishing you loads of success.

be authentically you...
it's journey, not a one day hike.
