New here and wanted to say hello. I am mother to a soon to be 3 year old and am still trying to lose weight from the pregnancy emoticon I will be starting the boot camp videos tomorrow and implementing them in with my Wii exercise games as well as two DVD work out videos.

I have been with SP since the beginning of the year and I have had success in my weight loss journey. Hi all, well I'm not new to SparkPeople, but I am new to the team.

My name is Kristina aka Kris. I'm happily married to my wonderful hubby Scott who just went to Ft. Knox, KY for BCT (Basic Combat Training)for 10 weeks, then to Ft. Leonard Wood, MO for AIT for another 10 weeks. I'm also a SAHM to our 5 yr old son. In my spare time I workout, read, play on the computer either with games, sparking, chatting with friends or PSP (Paint Shop Pro). I am also trying to learn to make my own digi scrap kits, but it's hard to when I get so distracted by other things, lol.

By the way, I'm Bonnie from London, UK. I've just turned 29 years old at the beginning of January this year. I'm planning to get married in February!, My Ultimate goal is to get to 150lbs in order to be more healthy and live longer for when I have children.
My mini goal is try and lose 1-2 lbs every week until my wedding day. Maybe fit into a size 14-12(uk size) wedding dress!
I'm hoping that this bootcamp will help me get back on track, and on my way to my goal weight.
I do weight watchers as well as I find an actual meeting place is helpful to me. The points system is a bit time consuming for me but It's a more helpful guideline to counting calories for me and it appears to be working, along with the help from sparkpeople.

Sounds like we both have the same issue of losing our motivation right at the point where it is critical to keep at it and continue. I too am the lightest I've ever been and I want 2010 to be our year! Come on Gammatuna! You can do it! keep it up. Well done for all the hard work you've done so far. I hope you are able to buy your dream swimsuit in the summer this year!!

hello my name is carla..i am 29 years old and wanting and needing to lose alot of weight..since i have started spark people i have done very well i am losing at a good pace and i find myself wanting to exercise with the videos or needing to keep track of what i eat....that being said i started sparkpeople at 345 pounds...i am right now at 313...my lowest that i got to was 304...but holiday's and sickness..excuses excuses..lol i am back and ready to make 2010 my year to get healthy...

my 2010 goal is to lose 100 pounds in total that would be me getting down to 245 by my 30th birthday in november...if i lose more that is the cherry on the sugar free sundae...

i will add that i am diabetic and i have pcos so by doctors request i am watching my carbs..i am not doing atkins or anything extreme i just try to keep my carbs to 50-75 a day right now...i am aiming to get to where i can get to just 50...

well i think that is everything about me...i can not wait to get to know everyone...

p.s. i am a college student..i am finishing my associate of arts degree right now and i am going to culinary school this fall..

Hey! I'm Cyndi. I'm not used to workouts with videos and my coordination is completely embarassing (like when Nicole switches between the jumping jack and the forward punch...much to be desired here!) I love my treadmill and was once an avid runner (25 years ago) and have recently found that I love cycling. Did about 350 miles this summer (between school and work). So, I'm giving the Boot Camp videos a shot!

Hello;

My name is: Linda and I have been on this site for awhile now and have lost a total of approximately 40 pounds. I still have approximately 20 pounds to go until I reach my goal weight on SparkPeople, until I change my goal weight again though. I would like to lose those 20 pounds in the next three months, so that I can change my goal weight again. I am excited about starting this team to meet my goal! I am a fitness trainer, web developer, public relations specialist, graphic designer, photographer, and Toastmaster. I can do this as well as everyone else!
I do not make new years resolutions any more either. I just take one day at a time and do the best I can do and try to do even better the next day!!

Hi. My name is Jolene. I am working on the last 20 pounds towards my goal. Happy Holidays Everyone!

I was looking for a plan to focus on staying on track with my fitness plan. Sparkspeople is teaching me three things:

1. Admit I do not know how to create a plan to achieve my goals
2. Admit my pride keeps me from following a plan created by others who have achieved success
3. Acknowledge I need others for the journey

Hi, I'm Peggy
I'm about to turn 60 and let myself go over the last 20 years from a 128 pound size 8-10 to my current 247. I want to be healthy and fit again. Been with spark for almost 3 months and lost 10 right away then have gotten more involved in the social part of the board and lost site of my goals.

The hubs and I are getting an awesome jaccuzi suite for New Years Eve and I want a rockin' bod to make the most of that room and the night! :) I need something to super charge my body, so I am doing the New You Boot Camp videos for a month staright ~or more~ and see what kind of results I can produce from some serious work!
