On top of what you already said. I love the way I feel after I eat clean! Amazing!! It can be challenging to only eat clean with a house full of picky eaters, but I can always depend on my salads to keep me going!! I have trained my husband to now make his "instant" oatmeal at work by adding hot water and letting it sit for a few minutes. Now he is hooked and has oatmeal almost every day now.

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me!

I have always enjoyed simple, whole foods. Eating clean suits me well! I already ate pretty clean, but I have made many improvements after reading Tosca's Eat Cleaning Recharged book.
What I am doing better:
-eating healthy fats like nuts in addition to lean meats, yogurt and cheese in moderation
-packing healthy lunch and snacks
-eating small protein and complex carb snacks to keep my energy level stable
-drinking more water! I have more energy, my skin looks more radiant, I feel better and my digestion in regular. I was dehydrated before!!!
-Choose more whole grains, nuts and seeds (before I tended to avoid breads and nuts). I also eat plenty of vegetables and look for opportunities to add veggies to everything
-I worry less about the glycemic index of fruit, knowing the fiber in whole fruit is filling.
-I add flax and chia seeds to my morning oatmeal or lunchtime smoothie
-I cleaned out my pantry of white flour, sugar and processed anything
-I understand canned food has links to cancer so I cleaned out the cans too (I donated to the food shelter). I have the goal of starting to soak my own beans
-I am working on learning a few new clean recipes to add variety to my meals
-I no longer buy portable yogurts with extra additives, but have greek yogurt only
-I no longer consume instant oatmeal, but cook rolled oats and plan to start cooking steel cut oats.
-I am understanding the importance of strength training and added ST to my weekly exercise schedule.
-I make water my beverage of choice. I allow one cup of black coffee in the am. Green tea other times. I rarely drink a glass of wine anymore. A nonfat latte is an occassional treat, maybe once or twice a month. I no longer drink crystal light or diet coke!
-I understand that processed food is not filling, so we overeat it.
-I understand that processed food has additives and chemicals that can be stored in our body as fat.
-I understand that processed food had hidden fat, sugar and salt we don't need!
-I eat to feel good
-My taste buds have changed. I no longer crave dark's too sugary!
