hi iam new to all of this so i hope you can help me 1)im 55 married 2)grandma of 2 mom of 2 3)i have artery dease and PAD 4)i have heart dease 5) i am prone to blockage 6)i have 4 stents know 2 in heart 2 in legs 5) i have blockage in both sides of neck but cant get anything done till its 75% 6) i weigh 172 would like to be 140 7) i belong to take off pounds sensibility tops 8) by learning to eat clean i will be able to stop the blockage from getting worse 9) stop smoking in may 2011 10)i walk 30 min a day 5x wk and yoga beginning 3x wk 11) i had 2 heart attacks in 2007 emoticon

1.) I am the mother of 11 Twins and a six year old boy
2.) I think I have finally lost most the baby weight (though it's been so long I cant remember for sure.)
3.) I am trying to do Insanity and Jillian Michaels (I have had to modify Insanity, 6 days a week is a bit too much for me.)
4.) I am an obstetric social worker and I DO NOT believe you can raise a healthy baby and a healthy drug habit at the same time.
5.) Jillian got me hooked on clean eating and Tosca is just the next step.
6.) over the past few months I have been losing my hearing and it is freaking me out (I have no idea when it will stop)
7.) Steroids suck (have them for the hearing and they make me hungry and I feel like I have the flu.)
8.) I live in Florida and love it except for the crazy people (there are a lot of them here.)
9.) Next I will move to AZ and I think there are even more crazy people there.
10.) I am looking forward to this group.

1. So happy to have found this group!
2. I am currently doing a "Train 2 Lose" program at my gym which includes nutrition and all of the nutritionist are Tosca fans.
3. I have been dieting all my life and twisted and turned on every diet until here I am here, now just one step from a truely clean eating lifestyle. Too bad it took over 40 years to figure out all diet roads lead to here.
4. I would love to gain the courage to do a marathon or triathalon in the near future.
5. I have been/am a gym rat for over 6 years, but due to a bad diet I have lost exactly 0 lbs.
6. I love TRX for strength training.
7. I love interval training for endurance and HRT
8. I love my family and my dog...although he slobbers a lot!
9. I am looking forward to a rewarding summer of eating clean, working out and having tons of fun with my daughter.
10. I would love to swap recipes with others who want to tweak their family's meals with cleaner foods.

1. I'm an engineering commuter student living at home in South Florida. I'm a senior with about two-and-a-half years to go to complete my degree. Whew!

2. I got engaged January 31, 2011 to my best friend, whom I refer to as the skinny fiance. We're planning to get married after I've graduated college and he has commissioned. Yes, future dress fittings compel me to be thinner.

3. My engagement ring is a small version of the one now worn by the Duchess of Cambridge. I had nothing to do with it, and the skinny fiance picked it out with no prior knowledge of the royal wedding or anything like that.

4. Injuries sometimes sideline me, namely shin splints and a hyperflexible lumbar spine.

5. I just started Eating Clean two days ago (this is day 3), and I'm cheating with some foods because, frankly, we're pretty strapped for cash and we have plenty of food that we need to eat before replacing it with unsweetened cereals, natural nut butters, and potatoes that aren't boxed up with chemicals.

6. I sometimes surf the web when I should be doing homework. Like right now.

7. My favorite cleaning activity is purging... I don't care what. Drawers, closets, cabinets, pantries, fridges. I feel so much more rejuvenated after getting rid of useless cluttering stuff that I haven't seen nor heard in months/years. (Disclaimer: I don't enjoy purging myself except through proper nutrition and lots of water. Bulemia is not on my to-do list.)

8. I dance and do bodyweight exercise for fitness (You Are Your Own Gym by Mark Lauren ). I'm currently sidelined, though (see 4) by my back. I want to start running again but first I have to work on those shins.

9.I want to lose weight and gain muscle, but specifically I want to lose some inches and get stronger without going for the competition physique. I'm just not interested, but I'm very supportive of anyone who has any kind of fitness goal.

10. I love, love LOVE fruits and vegetables. All of them. All the time.

Hey everyone,
1. I just found out about this site recently.
2. I started Weight Watchers Points Plus 3 weeks ago, but I'm starting to get frustrated with counting points.
3. I just heard about the Eat Clean Diet yesterday and my parents(my dad is overweight) have decided to try it. I'm going to try it too.
4.I'm in college.
5. I'm almost 27.
6. I have just started working out the YMCA, something I have never done before.
7. I just got a job at a gym
8. I'm loving
9. I'm really interested in learning about the Eat Clean Diet
10. I'm open to any and every suggestion about the Eat Clean Diet. :)

Hey everyone! I'm new to the team!

1. I started eating clean about 2 weeks ago, but the 2nd week was very rough. The first week I lost 4 pounds.
2. I am trying to eat clean every day (for the most part) until my birthday on June 8th.. it's a 16 day streak.
3. I love eating clean.
4. I have come to realize I am addicted to food, but more specifically, sugary foods. It's scary to an extent! It's half the reason why I want to start eating clean.
5. I wonder, Do you REALLY stop craving bad foods after eating clean for so long?
6. My boyfriend is "training" to be a police officer, which is very competitive around here. He is obese, like me, and he is trying to get in shape along with me.
7. The two of us have a beautiful little 2 year old boy.
8. I am in school full time, and I work full time this summer, but not year round. I work with children and LOVE it.
9. My favorite work out is zumba!
10. I hope to learn a lot and find a lot of people interested in eating clean!

Hello everyone - I just joined this team today.

1) I just started reading about clean eating and got some Tosca books/cookbooks at the library this weekend.
2) I'm pregnant - due with my second son July 22.
3) I'm excited about clean eating but am still on the fence about starting.
4) I haven't exercised much in pregnancy but am looking forward to getting back to it after delivery.
5) I ran my first 5K last Thanksgiving (6 weeks pregnant!) and want to run/jog more.
6) I am the crabbiest pregnant woman you'll ever meet. LOL
7) I gained too much weight while pregnant (again - which I swore I wouldn't do this time around).
8) Fortunately, I LOVE my freggies!!
9) My husband is super fit and healthy (he loves CrossFit) and he is intersted in eating clean too.
10) I'm excited to have found this team!

hello all:
10 things.. lets see
1. I'm Canadian
2. I play roller derby, i love it :)
3. at my heaviest i weight around 220lbs ( i am 5'6 and pear shaped)
4. I want nothing more than to weight 130lbs with a 6 pac
5. I have been eating the "tosca" way for a while now and have been trying to keep it really cleaned up.
6. I have IBS which was the reason i started to lose weight and be healthier
7. I am studying to by an Registered yoga teacher (200hr)
8. I sabotage myself ALL THE TIME i try and do 30 day challenge of perfect eating but can never make it past 2 weeks
9. I have battled with anorexic thinking and have body dis-morphia
10. i am hoping to learn to find love for my body through spark

Hi I'm Deidra and I just joined the group. Looking forward to making new friends.

Things to share about myself:

1. I'm dating the most amazing, supportive man (John) and we're about to celebrate our 2 year anniversary.

2. I work full time and go to school part time.

3. Although I've been bad lately, I do try to eat as clean as possible. This includes consuming raw dairy, raw nuts, organic soy free eggs, organic meats, etc.

4. I mainly follow a program calling The Diet Solution which is not a diet but a life style change to organic, clean eating!

5. I live at home currently but am in the process of getting an apartment with my sweetie.

6. I'm 27 years old.

7. I dislike the scale. I don't lose weight like most people. I have the worst time getting the weight off but I lose inches like crazy!

8. I am doing the TurboFire workout program and love it.

9. I have no kids but do have pets who I treat like my kids. They include 2 cats, a dog and 2 birds.

10. I rarely drink any beverage other than water but toss in an iced tea on super hot days! No sugar!

I have been eating relatively clean on and off for several years and have owned Tosca Reno books for a long time. I just never followed her principles to the "T". As much as I wanted to, I didn't do it. So now, I have a different outlook on this eating clean concept and mainly because I'm part of an EC Challenge on my Fabulous Fitness team, but also because I want to continue leading a healthy and clean lifestyle.

I just started on the eat clean diet, although I have been doing a modified version of it for some time. I just haven't been as consistent.

I have lost 40 lbs so far
I walked my first 5K in December
Eating is my biggest obstacle. I really enjoy the exercise, but I have trouble being consistent with the good eating. But I believe I am moving in the right direction. It's all about a lifestyle change and for me this does not happen over night.

1. I have been following Tosca's plan for a week.
2. I have lost 3.5 lbs on it.
3. I have lost about 65 lbs before that through portion control and occasional bouts of exercise.
4. I have a serious love/hate relationship with exercise that I hope to overcome.
5. I have 4 sisters that are extremely motivating!
6. I am worried I will get in a rut and eat the same things and get bored even though I know the options are endless.

My name is Cheri & I'm brandnew to clean eating.

1. I'm a remedial reading teacher to 6th graders
2. I ran my 1st Half-Marathon in Disney World this past January
3. I daydream about running the Boston Marathon someday
4. I was diagnosed with asthma in 2006.
5. Aside from two young cousins in high school, I'm the only person in my family who attempts to eat well and exercise: healthy habits are not part of our family culture
6. My grandparents have suffered from cardiovascular diseases, COPD, macular degeneration, and alzheimers. My parents suffer from cardiovascular diseases and arthritis. I fear facing these problems when I'm older.
7. My fiance considers mac & cheese from a box or canned soup a "tremendous" meal option
8. I'm getting married this summer & we hope to be expecting our 1st child by winter
9. I'm hopeful with SP and Clean Eating I can lose 25-30 lbs before fall
10. I'm excited about learning more about Clean eating and modeling healthier habits for my family

-my name is Su and I was 215 at the beginning of the week. My heaviest weight non-pregnant:(
-I LOVE to eat- but not in a good appreciative way- in an addictive- standing in the pantry in the dark eatting spoonfuls of frosting:(
- Some people can be fat and healthy but I will die from this- I am 31 and had gestational diabetes 3 times, have hypertension and am on medication for it. I suffered 4 yrs of infertility because of it.
- I have 3 absolutely beautiful children that I need to be healthy for. Madison is 8, Lilian will be 2 this month, Logan is 6 months old.
-I am an RN that works very part time.
- I am happily married to my high school sweetheart for 8 yrs in May.
- I have a mutt doggie named Gracie, and we just lost our little yorkie :(
-I have been eating clean for one week and despite breastfeeding I have already lost 6 lbs!
- I am all or nothing. when I fall off the wagon i fall HARD and gorge and it is not a pretty sight:(
- I need this so badly- I have lost so many things about me with age. I need to shed these layers and rediscover "me". Lets be there for each other!!
