Thanks for the welcoming messages. My journal is critical for me, I am working on day three of my back on track push. Already I feel so much better.

Everyday is a choice to get on track for eating, getting our bodies in shape, refreshing our minds, learning something new and to get out beyond our own viewpoint.

Any progress is progress and motivation that you have proven success. Dust off and look at your old logs and remind yourself what "doing it right looked like". We can all do this. It is not a race rather a journey. The goal is still ahead of you.

Let's all get back on track.

K Winder

The goal is to get everyone to be consistent in their workout. Even if it's just 10 minutes of exercise it's a lot better than no exercise.

Thank you! I will! I haven't been working out, so I need to get back on that! But, I am working on adjusting my meals. I have had 2 meat free dinners so far this week! I have been eating it at lunch instead. I really want to eat healthier.

Welcome back, Leslie! You're not that far off track! A back accident is a good reason! But, you can get back to it! Good luck!

Hi Leslie welcome back and congrats on the 180 loss that is FANTASTIC. With 20 pounds to go you can definitely knock those off before the year is over.

I like the topic here "getting back on track". Have not posted in this team much, but here I go. I am taking a run at becoming mostly veg again, inspired by the food revolution summit that is going on this week. In short, I am 180 pounds under my top weight this morning, but 20 pounds heavier than I like to be, just getting over a bad back accident last year so my exercise is off as well as my food choices. After a life filled with "food" and "weight" challenges I am beginning to realize that I am pretty successful at this actually. Hope to check in here more for support with cutting the meat out of my diet

Don't lose heart! I can understand how you feel, I've been in a plateau for months and I KNOW what I need to do (up my work out game) but I just can't seem to stay consistent with it. I guess I am in a frame of mind of well I'm not gaining so I don't need to work so hard but well I'm also not losing so um no I need to work HARDER (that goes for eating too).

I say when these ruts come along things need to change. Maybe try new recipes and new workouts/activities to keep things from being boring.

Exactly!!! I was so happy with my weight loss, that my occasional "splurge" days turned into EVERY DAY! Now, I am struggling to get back on track. I made sure I got my workout in either during my lunch hour, or after work. Now, I just sit. UGH! I was finally to my pre-pregnancy weight! My son is 14 YEARS OLD! LOL!!!

yes it takes so long to lose it and so little time to gain it back . I know exactly what you mean by holding on . good luck . you are in the worst part of weight loss . keeping it off . we all are cursed with this . very few can keep it off . like a bad dream it keeps returning . slowly but slowly it creeps back . i have a friend that has lost weight and has kept if off for four years now . i am amazed every day she is more active then anyone else i know ., busy busy all day . i al lazy and just look on as she moves on bike or race around a foot track . boat row and walk . she looks amazing . good luck . like sam smith song . stay with me .that song makes me cry but i love it .

Good morning! I joined this team back in 2012, I think. I have been up and down. But, last year, I managed to get back into working out and healthy eating, which resulted in a 25 pound weight loss. In the last 6 months, I have gained 10 of it back. I know it's not a lot. And, I manage to be "holding." By that I mean, I am not gaining any MORE weight back. But, I am in a rut. I want to make healthier food all the time, as well as stay active. I"m looking forward to it!
