Hi...I'm Terry and so happy to have found this group!

After reading Dr. Fuhrmans' Eat to Live and Dr Campbells China Study...I want to make some changes in my eating...I have been eating less meats, but, still like to have chicken in my salads, and, the occasional bacon for breakfast (no as much as I used to eat).
I joined a local CSA and through it, I'm trying new veggies (which are all organic)...
Looking forward to learning and sharing

So happy to find this group :))

I'm on a very restricted diet for medical reasons.....I am not supposed to eat grain at all....and I have to severely limit starchy vegetables like corn, peas, etc. My diet requires high protein, so I'm not going fully vegetarian, but I am interested in cutting down the amount of meat that I eat. I've already cut out dairy as I have a hard time digesting it.

It gets frustrating sometimes as every time I find a recipe that sounds good, it contains flour or calls for pasta, rice, potatoes, etc. I'm slowly learning to substitute with good results. I don't really miss grain at all. But I like variety in my diet and it's difficult when I have so many things that I can't have.
