I bet chasing after kids all day kept you in pretty good shape. The thing I love best about SparkPeople is that they give you tons of options to exercise at home, no equipment neccesary! Good luck in your weight loss journey, if I can be of any help, just ask. And have fun trying for a baby!

Hey all, my name is Crissy, I'm kind of new to Sparkpeople. I signed up years ago but never really did anything with it. I lost about 30 lbs a couple years ago on nutrisystem, which I loved, but have recently gained back a bit of that weight. My husband and I recently moved, and since the move, I haven't been working. I'm a full time student, but my classes are online. So I've become much more sedentary than I was before when I worked at a daycare and was constantly moving, squatting, twisting, lifting and the like. I think that has a lot to do with why I've gained some weight back. Anyway, I'm ready to get rid of it again and move on with my life. Obviously, I don't have children yet...I'm 31, married for 4 years, and we are trying to start a family with no luck yet. I'd like to lose all the weight I can before I do get pregnant though. I've never had a time when I was young and thin and felt comfortable in my body, and I want that so badly. I also want to be as healthy as I can be for a baby, if I am lucky enough to conceive one of these days.

Anyway, it's nice to meet you all, and hopefully we can help each other reach our goals together.
