Hello! I'm new to this group too... Stumbled across it the other day... Turned 30 this year, married, no kids yet. Finally getting serious about getting the stupid weight off instead of just whining about it.

230 - New workout stuff (done!)
220 - New purse (done!)
210 - New tennis shoes
200 - Massage
190 - Facial
180 - Mini-wardrobe makeover
170 - Massage & facial
160 - Dinner @ my favorite restaurant
150 - NEW WARDROBE

Hi all! I found this group yesterday, and just wanted to introduce myself and say 'hello'.

I'm 33, married, with no kids. I have plenty of pets but don't consider them 'my children'. I work part time for the postal service and part time at an animal hospital.

I've recently become more active and I'm looking for motivation and fun things to do as a group here, to avoid re-becoming a couch potato/computer bum. Today will be W1D3 of the C25K program for me, if you have ever tried this running program.

After seeing my highest weight ever on the scale on July 1st of this year, I got motivated. Since then, I'm down 10.9 pounds! I have never accomplished a weight loss like this, and hope to keep it going for another 20 pounds.

Looking forward to meeting all of you, and finding out some fun ways to stay active and balance it with work and social time.
