Hi Judi, nice to see another new comer. I've only had 4 months with this disease but I'm not letting it beat me. I'm trying to do all the right things that I can live with. So far so good. I hope you have been able to control yours too. I'm hoping the groups is here to help each other.

Here's my little tip. I read that cinnamon was a natural way to lower blood sugar. When I've had a high morning, I put a cinnamon stick in my tea and so far, it's always lowered my blood sugar that day. Or it's just my imagination!

Good luck.

Welcome to the team. Sorry you were diagnosed with diabetes, but as you are already finding out, it is manageable. Sounds like your on the right track.

I was diagnosed im February and have been reading, learning, exercising and changing. I hope to lose about 25 more pounds, maintain and balance my glucose. I suppose this sounds much like everyone else. I hope to learn from all of you.
