hi there Elizabeth
yes the fast foods can get us. If I do fast food I get the kiddie meals only or like Mcdonalds the asian salad is good option. we even have to watch salads at some places though. with splenda available in so many things it sure helps me feel not so deprived. I love the new tapioca pudding, rice pudding with splenda. I buy groceries mostly at walmart and they have so many great things. and We eat mostly things with ground turkey, turkey replaces beef for me. well gradual is what does it

Thanks! I am working toward getting more activity daily. I hope to make a difference and not need so much medication. i just have to stay motivated - plan my meals and lay off the fast food. emoticon

I know I can do it...i just have to want it!

Good morning to you all. This is the first time I have ever been part of a message board. I do not get on line very often. I am excited to communicate with others that have type II diabetes. My blood ranges are all over the place. I am trying to learn how to get them under control and my medications adjusted just right. I am sure I will learn a lot from all of you.
