Hello everyone! I'm a 29 year old stay at home mom who has been married for 10 years. We have been blessed with 2 children, a 9 year old son and a 1 year old daughter. I've always been on the "chunky" side, but after giving birth to my son, I gained a lot of weight. It wasn't until after giving birth to my daughter that I weighed my heaviest...220 lbs. I was shocked that I had allowed myself to get like this. Shocked and disgusted. I've now lost 15 lbs, but I know that I have a very long road ahead of me. Can't wait to meet you all!

We have a lot in common - I get off track pretty quick on SP too. I've all but given up tracking food, it's just such a pain. I don't eat much packaged stuff so everything I make I have to either put in every ingredient or take a wild guess.

Congratulations on the weight loss! I've only been "back" for a couple of weeks and haven't weighed. I always feel thinner when I workout or eat right, but that's not the same as actually being thinner...

I'd like to make some friends along the way too, might keep me accountable!

Hi, my name is Elizabeth, I'm a 30yr old SAHM of two little boys ages 3yrs and 13 months. I've tried SP several times, but always seem to get off track. When I saw I had over 220 pounds on my 5'6" frame, I knew I couldn't keep going as I was. So, I'm taking a different approach this time. Instead of trying to lose as much as I can as fast as I can, I am aiming for slow and steady. So far, I've shed 9.1 of those 220 pounds in the last 6 weeks! I'm hoping to make better use of the SP community this time, and maybe make some friends along the way!

I feel your pain! I got to my goal weight in 2010, then went through a lot of emotional rough stuff and gained all the old weight back and then some. I'm trying to cut back a lot on drinking - empty calories which have helped put the lbs on and of course junk food.

I'm running again, ever so slowly, but steadily. Incorporating Yoga and weight lifting eventually.

Just trying, that's all - let's keep it going and motivate each other!

Hi - I'm Peggy, I'm 45 SAHM of two, 5'1" weighing in at 182 as of today. Spark isn't new to me, this team is. I've been gone for quite a while, but I'm ready to try again - tired of the yo yo that is weight loss. I'm doing the couch to 5k program and am on week 3, day 1, doing ok. Going to incorporate yoga and maybe weights eventually. Hope to make some friend, definitely in need of encouragement and support.

Hi I'm Sandy and this is my second time here on spark. I am married and a mom to 7 kids from ages 5 to 21. I had a rough couple of years and gain some weight since my journey here on spark. I first came to spark in 2009 and was 280 lbs and did lose to 184 lbs in 2013. I left spark and somewhere lost focus and hit a rough patch. I was dealing with family problems and stuff just got in the way. It feels good to be back again and this time I plan on losing the weight that I gained. I sure could use all the support and motivation. My plan is to eat healthier and to walk as much as I can and come on here for support.

I am a Beautiful Woman in side and out, I don't have a weight problem "I have a problem with my weight"

Livin' Up to My Name

Hello Everyone, my name is Tracy. I have been having a hard time for the past several months now. Here are some of my numbers to try to shorten my description:

Joined SP in July 286 pounds.
In September of 2012, I hit my goal weight of 165 pounds.
In April of 2012 I began running and loved it.
In July of 2012, I ran from start to finish my first 5K. I still loved it.
In December of 2012, I ran each day for a total of 100 miles.

Making a Shift to a New Me

I am a wife and mother to 3 children, 2 cats and a dog. After 6 years of weighing more than I like(I have 138 lbs to lose.), I am finally committed to making the necessary changes to lose weight. I have done SparkPeople in the past, but quit as soon as I quit my diet.

My main goal is to be healthy and my secondary goals are to look and feel better. I am aiming towards losing 10%, or 27 lbs, as a mini goal.

Hello! My name is Candice :) Spark member since 2006 (this is a newer account)

I am a mother of 2. C is my oldest 4 years old. She is amazing, creative, and super funny. We are in the process of finding out if she may be Autistic.
A is my silly, sweet, rambunctious 1 1/2 year old daughter.
