Welcome to the team! You are right that learning to live with this is an ongoing process; I was just diagnosed in December.

My name is Shari; I have been a Sparker since July 2006, I am now in hospice care for metastatic breast cancer, but I'm not letting cancer stop me from Sparking!

Promise me you'll always remember: You're braver than you believe, and stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.

I'm fairly new to this team, but was diagnosed with Gastroparesis about 2 years ago. Learning to live with this condition has been a continuous, on-going process (and sometimes quite a challenge). Although my tolerance of various foods and beverages oftentimes changes on a daily basis, I am becoming more familiar with those particular items that cause problems on a consistent basis. I believe that joining this team and being able to share thoughts and experiences with others will prove to be very beneficial.

Thank you to the team and especially to Amy for the "Welcome Banner" SparkGoodie and message.

Looking forward to meeting other team members as we all learn to live with this condition.
