Welcome to SP and the team! I am also going through a "I don't feel like going to the gym" phase and that is the hardest part. But I try to keep in mind how much better I feel when I do workout, and especially how much better I sleep! One day at a time!

Dunno where you are from (tho with that name, college park md seems likely) but getting there is 80% of the battle for me - and that's in cold or heat! when it gets dark early and cold....i just hate it. i cant imagine dealing with rotating shifts too! so best to you, keep at it, i know you an do it!!

Hi I'm Gail. I am a night shift ER nurse. I work 12 hour shifts. Sometimes, or a lot of times, I become "unbalanced" with day vs. night. I feel much better when I go to the gym after work and at least do a 30-40 min walk, or water aerobics. Once I am there and get going I am fine. It's the "getting there" mindset that is difficult, especially in this cold, freezing weather. Need motivation.
