See i'd love to do any of these things but every time i get in the groove, my asthma kicks in. i have to stop in the middle and use the inhaler and wait for it to kick in. i told my doc, he gave me a daily inhaler too and said if that doesnt work check with the cardiologist to make sure it's not my heart! now i'm scared. but reading the 15 messages i got today has me motivated to try. new med not here yet. so i guess 25-40 mins on elliptical is better than 25-40 on the couch! gotta do it. thanks!

Good for you on the Zumba twice a week!!!! That is a wonderful start, but as you said, it won't be enough to give you the results you need. I would suggest either getting Jillian Michaels "30 Day Shred" (It's a 20 minute kick your butt workout!!) and do that 3-4 other days opposite the Zumba days, or go out and walk for 25 minutes getting that heart rate up, then coming back and doing about 15 minutes of cardio. :-)

Hello, My name is Debbie, from Eden Valley, Alberta, Canada.
I have started a Zumba class two nights a week but it's not enough to take off this extra 35 lbs! I will think about what to put down for more exercise, some combination of walking and strength training. I'm so tired of being exhausted after work and unmotivated, time to get moving as I know that will alleviate the after work slump! Have a super day everyone!
