Welcome to the newcomers! I'm glad to see some enthusiam on the team!

I HAVE MY CAR BACK!!!!!! emoticon emoticon emoticon

So, if anyone would like to meet at Northtown - or another location for a walk on Saturday, please email me with your preference of time - as well as when you are available for the day. If you have other preferences or suggestions for places to walk, please include them in the message. I would like it to be done before 3:30.

thanks for the heads up. If I know for sure Sparkies will be at Northtown on a Saturday...err perhaps not this coming one...below zero may not be the best for me but in the future love to come and meet others.

There are a couple people that have been trying to meet on Saturday mornings at Northtown for walking. I have car problems right now so it isn't doable for me. They've had issues finding a part. I've been doing a lot of walking in the downtown skyways, run the stairs at home and have weights at home and work. I have about 35 lbs left to go which should be doable but I'm taking it slow so I can keep it off this time. I'm changing habits rather than dieting.

Hi new to the team. I exercise at gym, on my wii or treadmill. My goal is to lose 60 pounds this year. I know the Northtown mall has walkers year round but thats quite a distance to travel on a daily basis, perhaps we could meet down there and walk once a week for encouragement? Any other suggestions?

thank you I did find it under appointments, I knew I had seen it just couldnt remember where,I just have to search and eventually I will relocate it!!!lol
How was your day? mine was fine got a lot done. and I exercised and ate healthy. I made tacos instead of all hamburger I used half black beans and half hamburger with low-fat cheese, my husband liked it ,my 9 yr old daughter didn't even know!

For anyone else who is wondering - I'm not really picky on this. Journaling is a sort of tracking and can be short - your mood, a food you liked or didn't like, how well you did for the day, something that motivated or hindered you. It can be done manually, in the glad or sad "game", in a blog or under the journaling that comes up with setting appointments. You can also add notes when you log food and exercise that could include journaling. It can be writing down inspirational thoughts or a post-it that helps you set a habit (that would be one for that day).
